Mission

The Korean Psych Exchange (KPXC) is a cross-cultural network of Korean-identifying psychologists, mental health professionals, and graduate students committed to advancing psychological understanding and mental health practices that serve the diverse needs of Koreans in the diaspora. Through mutual exchange, clinical and research collaboration, and community building, we aim to decolonize mental health practice and foster culturally attuned, innovative care.

Our Story

KPXC was born out of a shared recognition that Korean-identifying mental health professionals often navigate their work in professional silos—without spaces to engage in meaningful consultation, support, or culturally grounded dialogue. What began as informal conversations quickly evolved into a vibrant, intentional community.

Our founding members envisioned a platform that centered cultural wisdom, honored lived experience, and bridged diasporic and Korean-based mental health knowledge. Today, KPXC is building an international network grounded in authenticity, mutual respect, and shared purpose.
